An ACTIVE SHOOTER Shocks many on a private Golf course

Surprisingly in Nashua, New Hampshire on an upscale and private Country Club golf course a single gunman armed with a high-powered rifle began shooting as many fled on foot for cover and protection. As a result of this sudden attack one person was reported to have been fatally shot dying at scene.

Once again, we are confronted with the tragic and senseless loss of life, along with injuries sustained by others who were caught in the chaos while desperately seeking safety. These unfortunate mishaps continue to occur at unexpected locations and are unarmed and without plan to circumvent these horrific encounters.

This location is known for private parties, weddings and a host of other entertainment events without expecting any sort or type of violence. However, since we have a rise in these OFTEN DEADLY occurrences we can only applaud and appreciate the many men and women who are FIRST RESPONDERS and are immediately on scene to assist the wounded.

It’s deeply troubling that across the United States, we find ourselves needing to fortify public places and train our staff to respond to tragedies that, while unimaginable, have become all too real.

Our great State of California as per written by our State Senate and approved, enacted by Governor Newsom has warranted the need for a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan.  Senate Bill 553 (SB 553) now requires all public businesses in California to implement a comprehensive Workplace Violence Prevention Plan. This includes training employees on how to respond to potential threats, report incidents, and maintain proper documentation of any occurrences on the premises. We commend the California State Senate and Governor Gavin Newsom for their commitment to safeguarding employees and the public through this vital and mandated legislation. To enforce SB 553 compliance Cal OSHA has authority to impose non-compliance fines up to $150,000.

Active Shooter Assessment Assurance (ASAA) is here to support all businesses covered under California State Bill SB 553 in achieving compliance. Beyond meeting the bill’s requirements, ASAA provides a comprehensive evaluation of your facilities, offering practical recommendations tailored to your environment.
